Undergraduate and graduate studies

The autumn semester starts around 20th of August and finishes around the end of May.
The academic year is divided into four semesters that are 7 weeks each. Two semesters in the autumn and two in the spring. After each semester there is one to two weeks exam period. 

Agriculture Vocational training

Classes start around 20th of August and finishes in march/april when the student head away for practical training. Students in their second year start around 20th of August and finish in teh beginning of May. Specific dates can be found academic plan (icelandic).
