The ReWet project, hosted by the Agriculture University of Iceland, is looking for 2 highly motivated interns. ReWet is an interdisciplinary project investigating the year-round greenhouse gas emissions (CO2, CH4 and N2O) and ecosystem function recovery in a rewetted, formerly drained peatland in southwestern Iceland.
As an intern in the group, you will be working together with a post-doc researcher and a phD student and assist with both field and laboratory tasks. These may include measuring greenhouse gas fluxes with automated chambers and online analyzers, maintaining an eddy covariance tower, taking water samples, and processing insect samples.
